Has any one had a fusion on their neck? - spondylosis in my neck.
I have spondylosis in my neck with oesteophytes and anrrowing the spinal canal and I'm looking for an operation at some point in my life. You have to go through the front just above my chin. (Ouch). Can someone explain what it is and the recovery time?

Sure. I had a rupture disk in the neck which required surgery. They went into the front of the neck. I had 2 of the vertebrae. My liberty is always as good as before. I had to wear a neck brace, as they get when an ambulance came after a car accident. He had to wear for 4-6 weeks. His problem is similar. It will increase the osteophytes clean and the hole. They should do well. 4-6 weeks in a collar.
My daughter was a fusion of her skull to C6. She was in a yard because of their age. It was almost 7 months. Three days after the operation up and move around very well.
I had 5 operations of the spine and what you describe, the recovery should be about three months. They are probably in a kind of collar for a month and a chain for a month.
